Proudly Serving Bozeman, MT & the Gallatin Valley
Why Fence MT
We actually pick up. Call and you get a real person — and a fast answer, not a voicemail you never hear back from.
We show up when we say we will, we keep you posted while the job runs, and we finish what we started.
High-quality work at a fair price. We treat your property like our own and leave the site cleaner than we found it.
A 2-year workmanship warranty on every fence. We won't always be the cheapest bid — this is why.
Covered: our workmanship. Posts that lean, gates that sag or won't latch, rails that pull loose, hardware that fails. If we built it wrong, we come back and make it right — no hassle, no invoice.
Not covered: the stuff nobody controls.
Short version: if it's our fault, it's our problem. And if a hurricane makes it to Bozeman, the fence is the least of it.

It depends on the material, the length, the number of gates, and what the ground is like. Rocky or sloped ground takes longer to set posts in. The fastest way to a real number is our ballpark estimator, then a free on-site walkthrough for the exact quote.
Most residential fences go up in one to three days once we start. Scheduling depends on the season — spring and early summer book out fastest, so call early if you have a date in mind.
Many Bozeman-area neighborhoods and HOAs have height, style, or setback rules, and some jobs need a permit. We will tell you what we know from working in your area, but confirming with your city or HOA is on the property owner.
Yes. Montana law requires it, and we would do it anyway. Locates are called in before any post hole goes in the ground.
Often, yes. Frozen ground makes post holes harder but not impossible, and winter is usually the easiest time to get on our schedule. Call and we will tell you honestly whether your job should wait for a thaw.
Every fence carries a 2-year workmanship warranty. If a post leans, a gate sags, or hardware fails because of how we built it, we come back and fix it — no invoice. Full details here.
Yes. Repairs are a real part of what we do, and we will give you an honest read on whether a fence is worth repairing or whether you are better off replacing a section.
A Note From the Owner
"Hi, I'm Matt. When you call Fence MT, you get me — not a call center. I'll show up when I say I will, build it right, and stand behind it. That's the whole plan."— Matt, Owner of Fence MT
